The ratio between the number of enacted laws submitted for consideration to the Constitutional Court of the Slovak Republic (regarding their compliance with the Constitution) and the total number of enacted laws annulled by the Constitutional Court of the Slovak Republic

In 2023, 13 proceedings concerning compliance with the Constitution were submitted to the Constitutional Court for consideration.

In 2 applications, no consideration has taken place as of 31 December 2023. 8 applications were accepted for further proceedings (1 partially), meaning that in these cases the Constitutional Court may rule on the unconstitutionality of the contested provisions. 3 applications were rejected in their entirety, so in the essence they are not unconstitutional.

2 motions concerned legislative acts from 2023 – one motion has not yet been acted upon as of 31 December 2023 and one has been accepted for further action – constituting risk of unconstitutionality.
